REASONS - To be able to effectively describe a process in place for deconstruction of the concepts of "home" and "family", weaving together the stories of many people, different from previous experiences, they found to live according to conditions of employment of population of a former school building, in a sub-station. As evoked by the title, are multiple paths that can lead to individual and collective process of appropriation of places, so familiar as to make the point that they can self-define as a house (in the double-residential physical meaning of "house" and emotional " home " that the English language allows it). The topic is addressed in the documentary as a composite effect of penetration in the individual biographies of several people who share this house sui generis, some painful and seemingly hopeless, all converged in a positive way in the same place, net of re-socialization difficulties in sharing new rules on mutual coexistence. This is a good practice, both in terms of environmental sustainability (optimum use of space in connection with the economies of scale collective whether your project), both in terms of social sustainability (as an expression of active citizenship as an alternative to the usual relationship between the public and private sector in Italian welfare system and as a good example of social cohesion).
