Today I was with some friends to make a nice walk in the forest Ficuzza , a small town which lies between the towns of Marineo and Corleone. I had been several times in this forest, but today Dario, who organized the trip, I was surprised with a lap full of single trek unknown to me.

is then that I decided to prepare a nice post with lots of gps track and some photos to others, if they wish, can make the same path. A path is not too demanding in terms of distance and go, but at the same time a lot of fun for the presence of single trek fluid and clean, binding only in some places.

The starting point chosen by us was the small town of Godrano , where the morning we gathered in the central square. Time to greet new and old friends and we started to gain the woods. After a few kilometers of slightly uphill to get to a multi junction near the town of Santa Barbara, from there on, you get to secondary roads through the woods to reach the highest point of ' hiking, 920 meters, here the fun begins.

Near the village there is an old station, now farm, where the road passes under the first-mentioned railroad. Once in Godrano we had covered nearly thirty miles, except for a couple on the paved highway, almost all dirt roads and trails in the woods. The difficulty is often easy to medium, slowly enough that even three or four hours at most.
