Cruisin Places In Miami

Todisca

was a bit 'of time not updating this blog, the reasons were different, and most outside theme for this blog and then I will not reveal them. Instead of a many reasons, it was also continuing to go out I have no bike path routes which had not already said. Besides, the period is not the best to make exploration, the companions are on holiday at the sea, there is hot and just tend to follow well-known tracks and paths.

Even today, with Joseph, we decided to take a ride "moderately successful", but here I have never spoken. The route is a ring (my favorites), medium difficulty, only some aspects with high slope is uphill and downhill, but nothing that can not be overcome by pushing the bike.

We started from Casteldaccia then we walked a bit of SS113 in the direction of Altavilla Milicia, immediately after the long bridge over the river, we turned right to join the mother church of Altavilla following the path of pilgrims. From here you have to get quiet, and ride through the town along the only road straight ahead and upward until it becomes flat (after about 8 km), here you turn right to the entrance of the equipped Todisca (see photo below), this stretch is very steep, but fortunately is not very long.

Take care while climbing turn around to look behind, the landscape is among the most evocative of the area. Now we have to overcome the small gate for access to State forest, walk down the only dirt road, you can not miss and, after a couple of ups and downs you come to a stone balcony that looks towards the sea. No matter how you reach this vantage point, go there on a mountainbike, go there on foot or on horseback with a friend, but go there, I think from here you can see the most beautiful landscapes in the area.

After viewing point, continue the road until you reach a clearing where there is a gate on the left, it is easy to see that you're in the right place because you have in front of a small and young trees, however, immediately after the gate to the landscape will the inland and not towards the sea, one can easily see even Busambra Rocca. Here is a part of the descent a bit 'rough, but with a little' technique is easily exceeded, then the road becomes flat and takes you to the foot of the Lion's cave. From here you just have to go Casteldaccia on asphalt, there would be variations, but we'll talk another time.

A very long path with a moderate drop, but nice for the landscape changes, me and Joseph we had and we hope to repeat at other times. Until next time .. bye
