Ventimiglia di Sicilia

Today's destination was the town of Ventimiglia di Sicilia, a neighboring country and Baucina Ciminna. Me and my friend Joseph to reach the path we SS113, then the road to intercept the plane Spur SP6 (Trabia-Ventimiglia) that led us in the center of the country. Route mainly on asphalt, and then traveled with road bike. For the return instead we got a little 'share to reach the location Portella, then we went through the whole Suvari, the Cross, finally arriving to Casteldaccia which was the starting point.

In practice we have, as you can see from the picture, circumnavigated the entire reserve of Pizzo dog. Unfortunately I have not taken many photos, because at first we had a mechanical mishap that made us lose a bit 'of time, and then forced us to keep pace happy to avoid being surprised by the sunset. In any case I could not resist to capture the lake Caccamo seen from this side (the opposite in Caccamo).

The day was not the best, there were times when the rain seemed imminent, but fortunately we got home dry (apart from the sweat of course :-).

trip was not just my style, was more an exercise to retrieve the last week of inactivity, I want to be fit for next, so enjoy the excursions in which I am organizing madonie with my friends. Hopefully the weather improved to more fun.
